The Tunnel Coordinator will be responsible for supporting/overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of tunnel construction projects. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
What You'll Do Here: - Coordinate and manage all aspects of tunnel construction projects from inception to completion.
- Support the Project Manager on the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards by direct communication with field personnel
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other team members to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, permits, and contracts.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Bring to the Team:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a dedicated tunnel coordination or tunnel-focused role.
- Proven experience in tunnel construction, mining stations or a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is an asset.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with tunneling equipment and technologies is an asset.

Pay Range: $90,000-$120,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
