Context & Environment

Purposes

This position is primarily accountable for process transformation across TEHUSA and the shared-service entities supported by TEAS Treasury

through the effective utilization of the QUANTUM Treasury Management System (TMS). The role leads digital transformation initiatives, process

automation, data quality, and continuous improvement while supporting liquidity management activities and safeguarding company assets

through strict adherence to the Treasury internal control framework, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead utilizing data analytics tools and system to identify and explain cash forecast variances and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in treasury operations, leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and process automation to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance decision-making.
  • Propose process optimization and follow through implementation and project management.
  • Ensure effective control, monitoring, and digital visibility over bank accounts and balances, including rationalization of accounts, enhancement of bank connectivity, and implementation of standardized dashboards for reporting/oversight.
  • Support the annual Fiche de Financement process, presenting financing needs to management and HQ (Working Capital loans ~$13B, Long-term ~$22B).
  • Serve as QUANTUM Champion, driving optimization of the Treasury Management System by:
  • Enhancing system utilization and reporting capabilities
  • Promoting process automation and standardization
  • Ensuring data integrity and accuracy of internal flows including interest and FX transactions

  • Provide support to the US affiliates for QUANTUM and Themis-related questions and issues.
  • Perform daily reconciliations in QUANTUM and ensure ZBA sweeps are duly allocated.
  • Coordinate and monitor external financing activities; US Shelf bonds ($3.5B) and USCPs ($3.5B), while ensuring seamless system integration with internal cash flows, supporting automated tracking, reporting, and reconciliation within treasury platforms.
  • Perform duties within the context of the TEAS internal control frameworks.
  • Perform ad hoc projects including the creation of new companies and Central Treasury initiatives
  • Leads and participates in special projects as needed.
  • Process Automation: The position drives treasury digital transformation by leveraging automation, strengthening data integrity, and elevating forecasting and reporting capabilities to deliver modernized, scalable, and well-controlled treasury operations.
  • Cash forecasting & Liquidity Management: Optimize the cash pooling structure and ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Treasury Systems & Controls: Administer and enhance the QUANTUM TMS, ensuring accurate, timely, and automated processing of treasury transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide management with insightful reporting on cash flow, liquidity forecasts, and treasury KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Risk & Compliance: Monitor FX exposures, interest rate impacts, and counterparty risks; ensure all treasury activities adhere to corporate governance, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
  • Bank Relationship Management: Liaise with partner banks on account services, pricing, and compliance while supporting negotiations of fees and credit facilities.
  • Bank account administration - Serve as Security Administrator for JP Morgan Chase products. This also includes keeping all bank accounts and services in good standing and with current authorities.
  • TEAS Shared Service Champion - promote and strive for the best service possible for the TotalEnergies US entities that are under the direct shared service agreement of TEAS
  • Back up Support - Responsible for providing back up processing support for all critical daily activities for other members of the Treasury team, which is reciprocated


Candidate Profile

Education/Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. Graduate degrees such as an MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years experience in Treasury, Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Strong ability to drive process automation, straight-through processing, system integration, and data analytics using Power BI for cash visibility, forecasting, and operational reporting.
  • Proficiency in cash and liquidity management, banking operations, payments, intercompany funding, and bank account administration supported by hands on experience with Quantum TMS, online banking platforms, Microsoft Office, PowerApps, and CoPilot AI.
  • Highly analytical & data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail; critical thinking with problem solving skills; ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Digital & Continuous Improvement Orientation: challenges existing processes, driving automation, system adoption, and efficiency through digital innovation.
  • Must be customer focused and collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications include Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent treasury qualifications, with CPA or CFA considered advantageous.
  • Certifications in digital transformation areas such as Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), data analytics, and project/change management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are also highly valued.
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems, digital transformation frameworks, and process redesign methodologies that support efficient, scalable, and forward-looking treasury operations.
