Position SummaryThe Treasurer is responsible for ClarityPay's treasury function, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking relationships, treasury operations, payment reconciliations, and financial controls. This role ensures sufficient liquidity to support loan originations and operations while partnering with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, Servicing, and executive leadership to maintain accurate financial reporting and scalable processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesTreasury & Liquidity Management- Manage daily cash positions and liquidity
- Prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
- Optimize cash across operating, settlement, and reserve accounts
- Monitor working capital and recommend cash management improvements
Treasury Operations- Oversee daily treasury operations, including wires, ACH activity, funding, and cash movements
- Manage banking relationships, bank accounts, and treasury services
- Implement treasury controls and identify automation opportunities
Portfolio Payment Reconciliation- Own end-to-end reconciliation of customer payments across the loan portfolio, ensuring accurate receipt, application, reconciliation, and reporting across servicing systems, payment processors, bank accounts, and the general ledger
- Ensure timely resolution of exceptions
- Partner with Servicing, Operations, and Accounting to resolve reconciliation breaks and improve payment processes
Accounting & Financial Close- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare treasury-related journal entries and reconciliations
- Support cash flow reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and external audits
Risk & Compliance- Maintain treasury policies and internal controls
- Monitor liquidity and operational risks
- Ensure compliance with banking agreements and company policies
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years of treasury, accounting, or corporate finance experience
- Experience in fintech, banking, consumer lending, or payments preferred
- Strong Excel, ERP, treasury systems, and U.S. GAAP knowledge
- This role will be expected to be in the office 4 days a week
