Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• Two years of recent RN acute care experience within the last 5 years required.
• Six months of experience in inpatient or outpatient behavioral health settings preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required.
• Current BLS certification required at date of hire; ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document patient care according to established standards.
• Direct and delegate care to team members based on their qualifications.
• Ensure own professional effectiveness through continuous education.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies and procedures.
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
