The Opportunity
Aguirre & Fields is seeking a Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in roadway design to lead meaningful civil engineering work that strengthens communities. This role blends technical leadership, project delivery, mentoring, and client service.
You'll partner with Project Managers, Office Team Leads, and project teams to deliver work on schedule, within budget, and with a strong focus on client and staff satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a registered Professional Engineer who brings technical depth, clear communication, dependable leadership, and a passion for developing people and solving complex problems.
  • 5-10 years of relevant civil engineering design and project experience. Experience should include designing roadways in accordance with the TxDOT Roadway Design Manual
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Proficiency in relevant technology and software experience including Bluebeam, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • Relevant technology and software experience. Proficient in ORD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What You'll Do
Lead Roadway Design tasks for TxDOT, County, City, and Regional Mobility Authorities (RMA) projects.
Support project teams in delivering quality engineering work.
