Job DescriptionDewberry is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer for our Atlanta, GA office-- an excellent opportunity to join a top ENR-ranked transportation design firm and take the next step in your career.
Our team is in growth mode, and we’re looking for a roadway design engineer ready to help us deliver meaningful projects. In this position, you’ll collaborate with a talented team and an experienced Georgia Transportation Leader to drive the expansion of our transportation design practice in Georgia, backed by the resources of a national transportation network.

Responsibilities
- Engineering design and plan production for a variety of multi-modal projects.
- Assuming task management responsibilities.
- Collaboration with a team of engineers for successful project delivery.
- Contributing to and design-build projects.
- Assisting with pursuits and proposals.
- Involvement in professional societies.
- Exercising ethical decision-making and adhering to the Dewberry Code of Conduct.
- Upholding workplace safety and abiding by Dewberry’s health and safety, and harassment policies.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in roadway design, preferably in Georgia.
- Georgia PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation..
- Georgia DOT and Georgia local government design experience.
- GDOT Plan Development Process certification preferred.
- Energetic with ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
