What You'll Work OnOur transportation work ranges from local roadway improvements to major state and federally funded infrastructure projects.
You'll help lead projects from early planning through final design and construction support, including:
- Highway and roadway design
- NYSDOT and Federal Aid projects
- Design reports and technical documentation
- Construction plans, specifications, estimates, and bid documents
- Multidisciplinary project coordination
- Technical reviews and quality oversight
- Client and agency coordination
- Construction-phase engineering support
The projects will vary.

What We're Looking ForQualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Eight or more years of transportation engineering experience
- Experience delivering NYSDOT and Federal Aid transportation projects
- Strong roadway and highway design experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing design reports, plans, specifications, estimates, and bid documents
- Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead project teams and develop productive client relationships
- New York Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain one shortly after joining C&S

Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Salary Range: $121,680-$138,320 annuallyActual compensation is based on experience, education, certifications, technical expertise, geographic location, and market conditions.
