Shape Hawai'i's infrastructure - Join our Transportation Engineering Team!
We're looking for a motivated and skilled Transportation Civil Project Engineer ready to make a lasting impact across Hawaii. In this role, you'll play a key technical role on exciting projects ranging from highways and roadways to waterfronts and aviation infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
• Design roadway alignments, profiles, utilities, and drainage systems
• Develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Perform advanced engineering calculations and craft clear technical reports
• Support construction with on-site inspections, RFI responses, and submittal reviews
• Lead small to mid-size tasks independently and serve as a technical expert
• Help grow client relationships in Hawaii and across the Pacific Region

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Hawaii PE License strongly preferred or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3d, and Microsoft Office Programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Preference given to local candidates.

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Hands-on experience with Highways and Roads CAD engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
• MS Office knowledge
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience should include urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout and CAD base alignment plans
