Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCandidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.Managing corporate logistics requires deep visibility into freight expenditure, shipping irregularities, and process inefficiencies across distribution networks. This role resolves data fragmentation and cost variances by analyzing enterprise shipment data, auditing operational workflows, and constructing predictive transportation models. Through close cross-functional collaboration and automated reporting systems, logistics operations achieve improved carrier compliance, reduced freight spend, and streamlined general ledger coding. Ultimately, these efforts eliminate supply chain bottlenecks and elevate overall transportation program performance.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):- Lead root-cause analysis on LTL, Parcel & Freight modes
- Partner directly with senior leadership across accounting, finance, manufacturing, and distribution to define and deliver strategic reporting on freight costs and logistical patterns.
- Architect, deploy, and maintain advanced, enterprise-level dashboards to track freight spend, volume trends, fuel surcharges, and service level KPIs.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex carrier inquiries regarding payment status and invoice discrepancies.
- Manage the day to day operational relationship with DISH's Freight Payment vendor
- Identify, scope, and execute large scale process improvement initiatives and cost saving projects based on advanced transportation data analysis.
- Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to other analysts on the Logistics team.
Skills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):- Proven track record of leading projects, defining business requirements, and working cross functionally with IT, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Well developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with LTL and parcel pricing models,
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and data visualization tools.
- Utilize AI tools and analytics to process large data sets, automate data intensive workflows, and identify cost-saving opportunities within our freight programs
Minimum Requirements:- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years of experience in a corporate transportation environment
- Required Technical Skills: Advanced skills and experience with Excel or Google Sheets, coupled with intermediate to advanced SQL proficiency for querying large databases.

Salary RangesCompensation: $71,000.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
