ECI has openings for a Transmission Project Manager and a Transmission Senior Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include the conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines, including material procurement and construction support through line energization. Additional responsibilities include establishing project scope, schedule, and budget; directing feasibility and routing studies; developing and evaluating design solutions; overseeing structural and electrical calculations; reviewing drawings, specifications, and other technical deliverables; coordinating with clients and project stakeholders; and participating in all stages of transmission line projects. The Project Manager will remain actively involved in technical decision-making, design reviews, quality control, and resolution of complex engineering issues while serving as a primary interface with clients, stakeholders, and other enigneering disciplines.

equirements for consideration of a Project Manager: Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years' project engineering experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience; a PE license is required; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; commitment to quality and accuracy; and a willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules. The successful applicant must have an advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principals, be expert regarding applicable codes, standards and design tools, and have the ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines in the completion of transmission line projects. The ability to resolve conflicting priorities and schedules is expected. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
