Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy's Transmission team and take the lead on transformer service projects from inception to completion. You'll work directly with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors to develop detailed project plans, manage budgets exceeding $1 million, and ensure milestones are met on time. You'll review contracts thoroughly, align expectations, and keep communication flowing across each stakeholder group. Every day, you'll balance technical precision with commercial responsibility - making decisions that support safe, reliable, and efficient energy delivery. Whether managing Dress & Test (D&T) jobs or warranty work, your leadership will keep projects on track while opening new opportunities for growth in a rapidly expanding market.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage all phases of transformer service projects, including D&T and warranty work, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans and communication strategies to align customers and Siemens Energy stakeholders.
  • Review agreements, specifications, scope, and budgets to identify risks and ensure readiness before project launch.
  • Monitor labor, material costs, and productivity to maintain control and produce accurate forecasts of revenue and profit.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field service teams, and internal groups to achieve successful project closure and handover.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or similar technical discipline preferred; Associate's degree with transformer industry experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years' experience in electrical installation or construction management, preferably with projects over $1 million in the transformer industry.
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in engineering, operations, logistics, and program management. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience in subcontractor management, risk management, project communications, commercial reporting, and closure processes.
  • Willing to travel 20% domestically and internationally.
