Responsibilities- Perform and assist in buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyers
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data to prepare an Excel data book, with an emphasis on the quality of earnings, debt and debt-like, and net working capital analysis
- Aptitude to understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies, in addition to challenging target assumptions
- Assist and lead sections of due diligence meetings with target management
- Create and design tailored reports specific to key issues, such as normalized earnings, financial reporting, networking capital trends, and indebtedness considerations
- Ability to communicate due diligence findings confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbally and in written reports
- Ability to collaborate and work within teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery
- Develop and strengthen productive working relationships with client personnel
- Collaborate with other Elliott Davis team members
Requirements- A minimum of three years of experience with audit or transaction services is required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Current licensed CPA preferred
- Big 4, National or large regional firm experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Aptitude towards business development
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting issues
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task)
- Superior client service focus
- Ability to travel to client locations as required
