Full Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist in buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyers
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data to prepare an Excel data book, with an emphasis on the quality of earnings, debt and debt-like, and net working capital analysis
  • Aptitude to understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies, in addition to challenging target assumptions
  • Assist and lead sections of due diligence meetings with target management
  • Create and design tailored reports specific to key issues, such as normalized earnings, financial reporting, networking capital trends, and indebtedness considerations
  • Ability to communicate due diligence findings confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbally and in written reports
  • Ability to collaborate and work within teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery
  • Develop and strengthen productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Collaborate with other Elliott Davis team members


Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of experience with audit or transaction services is required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Current licensed CPA preferred
  • Big 4, National or large regional firm experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude towards business development
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting issues
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task)
  • Superior client service focus
  • Ability to travel to client locations as required
