Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the oversight, administration, and conduct of fleet training activities such as general access training, safety training, new employee indoctrination, leadership development training, training self-assessments, accreditation renewal, learning systems management, and training process administration
Essential Responsibilities- Directly supervise fleet instructors, establish performance goals, monitor performance, provide feedback, and assist in their professional development.
- Assist in budgeting, staffing, strategic planning, and reporting necessary to meet individual station and fleet training needs.
- Set standards and monitor the implementation of the systematic approach to training to ensure it is consistently implemented to improve performance, manage risk, implement excellence plans, and comply with training process standards to meet station and fleet needs.
- Supervise the conduct of training including monitoring instructor performance, enforcing fleet training processes, and addressing instructor performance issues as needed.
- Participate in fleet, site, industry, and regulator training initiatives such as workshops, benchmarking, assessments, and accreditation team visits as assigned.
- Support the ongoing operations of fleet training and is jointly accountable with fleet management personnel for meeting excellence plan goals.
Minimum Requirements- High-school diploma or general education degree required. Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Five years related nuclear training experience.
- Knowledge of systematic approach to training and regulatory and industry guidelines as applicable.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $112,200.00 to $159,400.00 per year
