Overview

Position Summary:

Oversee plant-wide training compliance, manage training programs through applicable Learning Management Systems (LMS). Ensures training data is accurately maintained to meet regulatory compliance requirements. Leads the development and implementation of departmental lesson plans. Supports creation and implementation of standardized work.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:
  • Maintains control and accuracy of master data within applicable Learning Management Systems (LMS) for the Orangeburg site.
  • Driving the standardization of training programs across the facility.
  • Participates in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities and supports the creation of standardized work processes.
  • Create and schedule training classes based on requests from People Leaders.
  • Establishes and maintains Training Groups, including assigned employees, required training, and training frequencies.
  • Collaborate with Departmental leaders to ensure Training Groups are aligned with departmental needs.
  • Maintains all training-related records and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Performs periodic audits of LMS data to ensure accuracy and system integrity.
  • Partners with Quality Assurance (QA) to address and resolve audit findings related to training compliance.
  • Utilizes reports and tracking tools to support People Leaders in ensuring timely completion of required training.
  • Works with Information Technology (IT) and end users to enhance training system functionality and usability.
  • Leads the development, maintenance, and implementation of departmental lesson plans.
  • Delivers new hire orientation and onboarding training.
  • Facilitates safety and quality training sessions as needed.
  • Reviews and approves document change orders to ensure alignment with training requirements.
  • Create training sessions as needed.
  • Creates training content to support regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Oversee and manage the personnel ID Badge system.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
  • Bachelors in business or equivalent regulated manufacturing experience.
  • 1-3 years of exposure to training a plus
  • Knowledge of integrated Learning Management Systems (LMS) (SAP preferred)

Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement

Travel Requirements:

    The annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $70,000 to $95,000. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
