Geode Capital Management, LLC is seeking an experienced
Trade Operations Associate to support tactical initiatives and daily responsibilities of the Operations business unit.
This role is based in our office in Boston, Massachusetts. You are required to follow the firm's policy on in-office attendance. Our current policy requires in-office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and then provides an option to work remotely on Monday and Friday. Please note that Geode may alter this policy at any time.
Role and Responsibilities:- Work closely with portfolio management, compliance, and trading teams to support day-to-day trading and investment operations
- Process voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, review event details, request elections, and follow up to meet deadlines
- Reconcile elections, expected cash and security proceeds, and dividend payments; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Support daily cash and ETF operations, including cash and position reconciliations and creation/redemption activity
- Produce timely and accurate metrics and other analytical reporting for portfolio management, trading, as well as other internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the trade operations team
- Adhere to Geode's operational policies and practices, in addition to established processing controls and procedures
Skills You Bring: - Bachelor's degree Business, Finance or a relevant field
- 3+ years of corporate action experience, including voluntary and mandatory events, elections, and dividend reconciliation
- Ability to understand corporate action terms, determine expected entitlements, and manage election deadlines and follow-up
- Experience with cash and position reconciliation; ETF operations experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and operational risk
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with macros, database queries, and reporting preferred
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension preferred; Bloomberg and SQL a plus
- Flexibility to work a rotating evening schedule
Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000 per year
