Zantech is looking for a talented
Mid-Level Operations Analyst to contribute to the success of our upcoming Service Delivery & Resource Allocation Management Support project for an onsite role based out of Arlington, VA.
The
Mid-Level Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the following:
- Support to Office Director, Deputy Director, Deputy Program Directors, ADPM, and Program Managers
- Track and coordinate all taskers, drills, and exercises
- Manage DIRO Program Review preparations to achieve 'Ready to Review' status 3 business days prior
- Prepare TS/SCI briefings; provide technical and programmatic input to PADs, SCGs, PCRs, and RDoc narratives
- Manage acquisition communications and lifecycle tracking; provide quarterly process improvement recommendations
- Technical R&D transition support including MOA/MOU drafting, transition analysis, and stakeholder network management
The
Mid-Level Operations Analysts are the journeyman-level analytical backbone of support operations. They lead coordination of DIRO Program Review preparation, manage complex acquisition communication routing, support R&D transition activities, and provide technical and programmatic input across a broad range of classified and unclassified deliverables. Their deeper experience enables them to mentor junior analysts and independently manage high-visibility deliverables on tight timelines.
Designated Impact:The
Mid-Level Operations Analyst directly supports DARPA's most senior program review processes and R&D transition activities. A weak performer in this role creates risk across DIRO reviews, Congressional inquiries, and transition partner engagements.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: - Manage all preparations for DIRO Program Reviews; achieve 'Ready to Review' status (finalized master schedule, approved consolidated briefing deck, collected supporting materials) 3 business days before each review
- Track and coordinate all taskers, drills, and exercises with 98% accuracy; manage escalations to leadership
- Manage acquisition communications and documentation routing between DARPA PMs, Contracts Management Office (CMO), and Office of General Counsel (OGC) to maintain established solicitation schedules
- Track and analyze the acquisition lifecycle for all classified and unclassified acquisitions; provide at least one actionable process improvement recommendation per quarter
- Support R&D transition activities including developing transition partner requirements documents, drafting MOAs/MOUs, and producing R&D transition analysis reports
- Prepare TS/SCI briefings, trip reports, PADs, SCGs, PCRs, and RDoc narratives with 95% accuracy on first submission
- Build and maintain a stakeholder network database updated quarterly with 98% data accuracy; facilitate at least one new stakeholder connection per program per year
- Mentor Operations Analyst IIs and provide quality review of their work products
Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions: - Minimum 6 years, including at least 3 years tracking technical and financial milestones in a DoD or R&D environment
- Demonstrated independent problem-solving ability on financial, administrative, and program management challenges
- Experience managing high-visibility deliverables including executive briefings, program review packages, and Congressional reporting documents
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes including BAAs, solicitations, and proposal evaluation
- Strong writing skills for technical documents, policy memos, and TS/SCI-level briefings
- Experience with R&D transition activities, MOA/MOU drafting, or stakeholder engagement preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and classified systems (SIPRNet/JWICS)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with conflicts and diverse stakeholders
Required Education/Certifications: - Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or mathematics
- Education Preferred
- Master's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or operations research
- Preferred Certifications
- DAU program management or systems engineering coursework
- PMP or equivalent
Required Security Clearance: - US Citizenship required
- Must possess and Active US Top Secret (TS); must be eligible for SCI access
