The Freight Brokerage Operations Manager must have progressive experience in freight brokerage, transportation management, and supply chain optimization.
Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:- Direct and oversee all freight brokerage operations, ensuring seamless execution of shipments and superior service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics coordinators, carrier reps, and dispatchers to exceed performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong carrier and customer relationships, negotiating competitive rates and ensuring capacity in volatile markets.
- Optimize load planning, routing, and carrier procurement using advanced TMS platforms and data-driven strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and internal safety and regulatory standards.
- Analyze operational KPIs to identify trends, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and customer service teams to align operational goals with business objectives.

Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
- 10+ Years of Transportation/Logistics Leadership Experience, including transportation management systems, fleet management, DOT and FMSCA Compliance.
- Proven ability to scale operations, reduce costs, and increase margins in fast-paced freight environments.
- Expertise in TMS optimization, load consolidation, and real-time freight visibility tools.
- A track record of building resilient carrier networks and navigating complex logistics challenges with agility.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills that foster a culture of accountability and innovation
Job CompensationCompensation up to $125k based on experience.
