Responsibilities

TikTok Shop Supply Chain & Logistics team is seeking experienced talents. The team is dedicated to innovating and streamlining TikTok Shop's transportation network and this pivotal role is at the forefront of shaping scalable and efficient transportation strategies. This role is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end fulfillment network across fulfillment centers, middle mile, last mile, and carrier operations. The role will own the design, execution, and continuous improvement of SRE logic, carrier performance strategy, FC wave planning, backlog control, and middle-mile backbone network development. The ideal candidate will combine strong business judgment, analytical depth, operational understanding, and cross-functional leadership to bridge the gap between network models, system logic, and real-world execution constraints. Responsibilities - Own the strategy and continuous improvement of the end-to-end fulfillment network across fulfillment centers, middle mile, last mile, and carrier operations. - Optimize fulfillment decisioning and execution logic, including order allocation, routing, carrier selection, prioritization, wave planning, and backlog management. - Develop and execute middle-mile and last-mile network strategies, including lane design, node connectivity, capacity planning, carrier performance, service coverage, and cost optimization. - Build analytical models, simulation tools, dashboards, and performance mechanisms to identify bottlenecks, evaluate trade-offs, and improve fulfillment speed, cost, capacity, and reliability. - Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, Carrier Management, Planning, Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate business needs and operational constraints into scalable solutions. - Lead strategic initiatives from diagnosis through implementation, drive stakeholder alignment, and communicate recommendations and measurable business impact to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above; 5+ years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, supply chain strategy, transportation, logistics, network planning, operations research, or a related field. - Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce fulfillment, including fulfillment centers, inventory placement, order allocation, middle mile, last mile, and carrier operations. - Proven experience in fulfillment or transportation network optimization, including routing, carrier selection, capacity planning, network design, or flow optimization. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs across cost, speed, capacity, service quality, and operational feasibility. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and translate strategic recommendations into scalable operational improvements. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a high-growth e-commerce, marketplace, direct-to-consumer, or third-party logistics environment. - Experience working with order management systems, transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, routing engines, or carrier management platforms. - Experience managing or partnering with last-mile parcel, regional, final-mile, or middle-mile carriers. - Experience with FC wave planning, backlog management, fulfillment prioritization, or execution decisioning. - Experience building network optimization models, simulation tools, scenario analyses, or capacity planning models. - Experience developing performance dashboards, carrier scorecards, operating reviews, escalation mechanisms, or corrective action plans. - Familiarity with SQL, advanced analytics, optimization techniques, or simulation tools. - Experience leading network launches, fulfillment model changes, or large-scale operational transformation initiatives. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations and trade-offs to senior stakeholders. - Strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, ownership, and a bias for action.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $151050 - $258400 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
