Your role at Vantive

This position is responsible for providing clinical and commercial support to Vantive's customers, in multiple hospital call points including Nephrology, Pulmonary, and Critical Care. This position is responsible for ongoing account development, education, training and growing existing business. The product portfolio includes innovative technologies and therapies for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), multi-organ extracorporeal support therapy and additional dialysis services. This critical role is considered the expert in CRRT services and multi-organ support therapy in the critical care space.

Ideal candidate will reside in: Maryland, Virginia and/or Central PA

What you'll be doing
  • Manage and grow CRRT therapy in existing contracted accounts - Focus on high growth potential accounts within territory
  • Collaborate with the Territory Business Manager (TBM) to develop strategic goals to drive therapy utilization and territory growth
  • Establish and develop consultative role with key stakeholders to promote therapy development, facilitate relationship building and provide necessary customer service within existing customer base
  • Solicit, develop and maintain successful relationships with key healthcare professionals in assigned accounts
  • Educate and train critical care staff within new and existing accounts to product portfolio and CRRT therapy.
  • Consistently search for all growth & expansion opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Act as lead for incremental machine sales and key CRRT product penetration
  • Enhance therapy utilization and drive Vantive value in the critical care space
  • Assist Clinical Educator - CRRT with logistics and trainings at customer locations
  • Assists in contract negotiations with the TBM


What you'll bring

  • Preferred RN, BSN with at least 3 years' experience in critical care medicine (ICU/ED). Candidates without a nursing degree but with 8+ years of medical device, training and experience will also be considered.
  • 2 or more years sales experience required preferably in the medical device industry, and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience delivering CRRT in the hospital ICU setting.
  • Prior experience selling to Capital Equipment markets, and "Conceptual Selling" to physicians and hospitals in critical care settings is highly desirable.
  • Critical Care or Dialysis Nursing background preferred.
  • Strong, demonstrated expertise in product and therapy knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to take a positive, proactive approach to solving complex and/or unusual clinical or technical problems
  • Good interpersonal, communicative and oral skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to start new therapy programs
  • Proven expertise in product and therapy knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to teach; demonstrated self-confidence and effectiveness in dealing with a wide variety of student types
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate on pricing, contracts and renewals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and matrixed organization
  • Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers, physicians, nurses and other medical staff
  • Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, proactive manner with customers during stressful situations
  • Demonstrated top industry performance


Travel:
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight depending on territory geography. Including local and regional travel in designated territory, as well as to occasional regional and national medical conferences and/or global business meetings as required.

The estimated base salary for this position is $ $104,000 - $115,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. For commercial roles, the estimated range does not include potential commission or other incentives.
