OverviewTISTA Science and Technology is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Write test plans, cases and scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Build and maintain automated suites (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman) that run in CI/CD.
- Run functional, integration, regression and Section 508 testing, and support UAT.
- Maintain the requirements traceability matrix and log defects in VA tools.
- Report test results and coverage for release readiness.
Qualifications
- Mid: 5+ years in software testing, including 3+ years of automation.
- Journeyman: 2+ years in software testing.
- Test plans, cases and scripts from user stories; defect management.
Desired Skills:
- Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Postman in CI/CD.
- Requirements traceability matrix in Jira Xray or VA Quality Manager.
- Section 508 testing and UAT support.
Education:
- ISTQB Agile Tester; Section 508 Trusted Tester preferred.
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Pay Range:
- The suggested pay for this position ranges from $95,546 to $105,875.
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
