Test Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect to define and drive the overall quality engineering strategy, test automation architecture, and testing best practices across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks, implementing quality engineering processes, and leading testing initiatives for complex software systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with development, DevOps, product, and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement enterprise-wide test architecture, automation strategy, and quality engineering standards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and cloud-based applications.
  • Establish testing processes, methodologies, and best practices across projects and teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Lead automation, performance, security, and API testing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Review test automation code and mentor QA engineers on framework development and best practices.
  • Drive continuous integration and continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze quality metrics, identify risks, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support release planning and quality governance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, accessibility requirements, and security practices.
  • Research emerging testing technologies, AI-driven testing tools, and automation trends.

Qualifications:

    • ISTQB Test Manager
    • Certified Selenium Professional
    • AWS/Azure Cloud Certifications

Experience:
  • 8-15 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Test Architect, QA Architect, or Quality Engineering Lead role.
  • Experience building enterprise automation frameworks and testing strategies.
  • Experience leading testing efforts for large-scale web, mobile, cloud, and microservices applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AI-powered testing tools and intelligent test automation.
  • Knowledge of Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing methodologies.
  • Experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Service Virtualization and Contract Testing.
  • Experience implementing quality engineering practices in DevOps environments.
