Your Contribution As a
Test and Validation Engineer - HVAC reporting to the Head of AC Testing - NA, you will provide support for equipment and facilities used in the validation testing of automotive HVAC and engine cooling components. Requires multidisciplinary electrical and mechanical engineering background supporting industrial test equipment, process control, and instrumentation. Ensures data quality and adherence to validation specifications.
This role is responsible to:
• Install and support of instrumentation and data acquisition systems
• Support process control equipment including PLCs and controllers
• Size control valves, heat exchangers, and pumps
• Diagnose refrigeration systems
• Engineer test equipment and facility improvements
• Support technicians and troubleshoot test issues
• Define project specifications and prepare cost estimates
• Perform commissioning tests
Your Experience and Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year college or university
• 1-10 years of experience
• Knowledge of instrumentation, controls, electrical systems
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI
• HVAC and thermodynamics familiarity
• Knowledge of MSA, OSHA, NFPA standards
• Strong English communication skills are required.
