Job Description

We are seeking a Test Analyst III/IV&V.

Located on-site in Chesapeake, VA.

ESN is seeking an experienced Test Analyst III with IV&V (Independent Verification & Validation) to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract to support NIWC LANT consists of Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support. The Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) systems provides near real-time material-based readiness reporting to the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy (DRRS-N) and provides three additional primary capabilities to the Fleet including Ashore and Afloat systems. This support includes manual and automation of software testing, Scrum Master, transitioning to Cloud, management of JIRA/JAMA/Confluence, and project support.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Supports the Project Manager in the examination of correct, complete, reliable, and maintainable MFOM software installations.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Six (6) years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking with an emphasis in Verification and Validation activities. This includes examining the correctness, completeness, reliability, and maintainability of products at each step in the development process:
    • Correctness means the product being evaluated satisfies all system specification requirements.
    • Completeness signifies all required functions are implemented and all necessary products are developed to fully support the program lifecycle.
    • Reliability indicates the final product can be expected to perform its intended function without error or failure.
    • Maintainability requires that the developed program products be designed to facilitate and simplify lifecycle maintenance and modifications.
