Full Job Description
This is an outside sales role for someone who can sell both recurring service and one-time projects into industrial and commercial accounts. On the service side, that means preventive maintenance agreements, inspections, and the ongoing relationship that keeps a plant's boiler room reliable. On the project side, it means capital work - boiler replacements and retubes, controls and combustion upgrades, efficiency retrofits, piping, and rentals - where the sale is technical, the sales cycle is longer, and the numbers are larger.

The right person is equal parts hunter and farmer: growing wallet share inside an existing book of accounts while opening new logos across the territory. You will work closely with the service and engineering team to scope opportunities accurately and quote work you can stand behind, and you will own your pipeline from first conversation through booked revenue.

What You Will Do
• Sell boiler service agreements, maintenance contracts, repairs, and capital projects to industrial, commercial, and institutional customers across the territory.
• Develop new accounts through prospecting, referrals, and industry networking, while expanding service and project revenue within existing accounts.
• Build relationships with the people who own boiler room decisions - plant engineers, maintenance managers, facility directors, and procurement.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to understand each customer's systems, identify service and upgrade opportunities, and gather the information needed to scope work accurately.
• Partner with the service and engineering team to develop proposals, estimates, and project scopes; present pricing and technical solutions that win the work and protect margin.
• Manage a pipeline with discipline - forecast accurately, keep the CRM current, and move opportunities from lead to booked revenue.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and in the field as a knowledgeable, trusted resource in the boiler room.
• Hand off sold work cleanly to the service and project teams and stay engaged to keep the customer relationship strong.

Requirements
What You Bring
• A track record in technical or industrial sales - selling service, equipment, or projects into industrial, commercial, or institutional accounts.
• Familiarity with boilers, mechanical systems, HVAC, combustion, or a closely related industrial equipment category; enough technical fluency to hold a credible conversation with a plant engineer.
• Comfort selling both recurring service agreements and longer-cycle capital projects, and the discipline to keep both moving at once.
• Strong prospecting and business development instincts - a genuine hunter who can also nurture and grow existing accounts.
• Consultative selling skills: the ability to diagnose a need, scope a solution with a technical team, and present value rather than price.
• CRM discipline and accurate pipeline forecasting.
• Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
Nice to Have
• Direct experience selling boiler, steam, or combustion service and projects.
• An existing network among industrial and commercial facilities in the Arizona market.
• A technical or trades background - boiler operation, mechanical service, or engineering - that transitioned into sales.
• Experience selling into mining, healthcare, food and beverage, or manufacturing environments.

Benefits

This is a strong base salary plus strong incentive package. Focused on growing, developing, and mainting business.

  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
