Responsibilities

  • Represent Flexco professionally and positively
  • Drive sales growth across various belt conveyor industries
  • Conduct multiple in-person visits to end-users for support and demonstrations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users and customers
  • Manage distributor network, including training and performance evaluation
  • Train distributors and customers on product usage and troubleshooting
  • Ensure territory sales expenses are accounted for and optimized
  • Monitor competitive landscape and serve as a trusted industry resource
  • Maintain and update CRM database with accurate information
  • Shape territory direction with annual sales and market plans
  • Support internal functions like training and market research as needed

Territory Manager - Midwest and Kentucky

Covering: Most of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio - Candidates based in or near Cincinnati, Columbus or Louisville are preferred

This role will oversee a Midwest territory that includes most of Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. The chosen candidate will work with our LD products and be responsible for distribution served business within a wide array of industries.

Territory Managers have a variable compensation structure that includes performance-based metrics and goals. The base compensation of this role typically falls around the $100,000.00 mark, with potential to make much more.

What You Will Need
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of successful outside industrial selling experience with a proven track record is preferred
  • Material handling or belting industry experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field will be a plus
  • Must be very autonomous and able to work independently 90% of the time
  • Comfort working in environments requiring moderate physical effort, including occasionally lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 45 pounds; walking conveyors and belt lines; standing for extended periods; and sitting, kneeling, or working in other positions as needed
  • May be required to work in confined spaces or at elevated heights
  • Domestic travel up to 60%, including overnight travel
  • Full-time residence within the assigned territory; candidates in or near Cincinnati, Columbus, or Louisville are highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required due to regular travel within the assigned territory
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems

What You Will Be Doing
  • Represent Flexco with a professional, knowledgeable, and positive attitude
  • Drive sales growth across industries that use belt conveyors such as mining, aggregate, agriculture, food production, and wood products by engaging users, specifiers, influencers, and buyers, and by identifying new opportunities and markets
  • Conduct a significant number of in-person end-user calls to maintain contact, provide support, demonstrate products, and deliver productivity-focused solutions
  • Build lasting end-user and customer relationships that generate demand, deliver value-added solutions for unique application needs, and win new and existing business
  • Manage a network of distributors within the assigned territory, including joint selling, training, inventory support, and ongoing performance evaluation
  • Train distributors and customers on Flexco products, installation, troubleshooting, and service
  • Ensure territory spending drives the greatest possible sales return and remains well-documented and accountable
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and serve as a trusted industry authority and go-to source for information, solutions, and products
  • Manage and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and maintain accurate end-user, distributor, and industry intelligence
  • Shape territory direction through annual sales and market planning
  • Support internal Flexco functions such as training, product development, field testing, and market research as required
