Territory Manager Position SummarySupports the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization by strategically working with key decision-makers to demonstrate how our products and services meet the needs of their patients and organizations and building partnerships that drive continuous growth in revenue and profitability.
Territory Manager Essential Functions- Models and holds others accountable to the Barnes culture and acts as a coach and mentor for others in the organization.
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Territory Manager Minimum qualifications and skills- A BS/BA degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Clinical degree, licensure, or experience preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
Working conditions- Prolonged periods outside of the office meeting with prospects and clients.
- Responding to inquiries and calls during and outside of normal business hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
