Description

The Technology Services Business Partner serves as the liaison between assigned business units and the subject matter experts (SMEs) and leaders within the Technology Services Departments. The Technology Services Business Partner will operate as the key point of contact with requestors and client delivery stakeholders in developing and maintaining strong relationships both within their business areas and the Technology Services organization. This role will understand and translate both business strategy, objectives, and needs as well as Technology Services offering strategies and roadmaps that support our business objectives.

Job Duties
  • Act as a strategic partner to business units, leveraging a deep understanding of Technology Services to bring the right people together and drive the creation of safe, innovative, and effective solutions for deployment.
  • Establish and maintain healthy relationships with business unit Executives, Directors, Department Managers, Project Managers, and Technology Services leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Understand business objectives and goals and how each business unit creates success for Clients.
  • Collaborate with business unit leadership to understand and articulate their strategic technology roadmaps that meet their business goals.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions by connecting Technology Services experts to design, develop, and deploy solutions.
  • Partner with Technology Services providers to obtain a working knowledge of all services, processes, and policies and ensure opportunities are available for possible business unit maximization of their use.
  • Support successful work transitions between Technology Services, Business Units, and project teams.
  • Coordinate, conduct, and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to Business Units and leadership.
  • Vet business unit alignment, approvals, priority, funding, sponsorship, and delivery timing for deeper engagement.
  • Connect, as applies, across business unit areas for synergies and insights into similar problems to solve and collaborate with other Corporate Services teams to facilitate conversations that may result in solution compatibility.
  • Secure Technology Services experts and bring together a project team to initiate requirements reviews, solution creation, and final scope to successfully set expectations for interaction and goals for alignment driving toward a successful outcome.
  • Lead and drive the project team through scope of work completion while providing advocation and clarity for business processes and needs.
  • Enable healthy escalation of team risks or issues for roadblock removal and continued team momentum.
  • Support ongoing delivery for Technology Services solutions and work throughout project lifecycle.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 8 years' experience working in a technology-related field required OR
  • Associate's degree and 10 years' experience working in a technology-related field required OR
  • High school diploma and 12 years' experience working in a technology-related field required.
  • Ability to bring teams together to connect technology solutions to business needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information.
  • Robust collaboration, facilitation and leadership skills.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills preferred.
  • Proven Ability to bring teams together to connect technology solutions to business needs is preferred.
  • A self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills that align with department goals.
