Bala is hiring an experienced Technology Project Manager to work onsite in our Wayne, PA or Boston, MA office. This Specialist manages select projects while developing and growing a group that can execute large scale projects on a regional and national basis. This person will also provide technical expertise, serve as a resource for the staff, and support the sales efforts by establishing and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities include:

• Project management functions include scope responsibilities, client management, scheduling, and financials.
• Participate and lead in OAC and A/E project meetings as a Bala technology representative.
• Provide audiovisual design services on technology projects within the office and assist on multi-discipline (Structured Cabling, Security, Building Systems, AV) projects.
• Lead in the creation of project deliverables including:
  • Schematic design reports
  • Audiovisual specifications, equipment lists and budgets
  • Field reports and punch lists
• Assist in the creation of project deliverables including:
  • Revit based drawing packages
  • Audiovisual system diagrams
  • Mounting details, rack and control room layouts
• Perform high level Quality Control on projects.
• Develop quality relationships with existing clients and end users. Build new relationships that will lead to new work.
• Review RFPs and create proposals.
• Assist in marketing and business development processes.
• Interact with the technology group and office leaders on office and strategic issues.

Desired skills and experience:

• Minimum of five years of experience in audiovisual systems design and project management.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complicated systems in a way that a non-technical client can understand and make appropriate decisions.
• Revit experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented and organized while being able to multitask and shift priorities with ease.
• Avixa Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), (CTS-D) a plus.
• Additional design experience on any of the following: Structured Cabling, Access Control/Video Surveillance, Audiovisual, IoT/Building Systems Integration, Enterprise Technology Strategy, Distributed Antenna/Emergency Radio Systems, Wi-Fi/Network Design, Datacenter Design.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering, design or management discipline or history of continuing education and certification on technology design for the built environment.
