Investment Banking Business - Snowflake Migration Projects
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technology Project Manager to join our investment banking technology team. Responsibilities will include project planning and execution, recommending solutions to project challenges, identifying and mitigating risks, prioritizing deliverables, managing timelines, and working with cross-functional teams. You will independently manage the execution of projects, identify and mitigate risks, address issues, coordinate resources, and contribute to documentation and reporting efforts.
Ideal candidates possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with cloud data solutions (preferably Snowflake), and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in financial services or technology project coordination is desirable.
- Plan and execute Snowflake migration projects
- Resolve project issues, assess associated risks and impacts, manage resource constraints, and recommend and implement the most appropriate course of action to support project success and meet project deadlines
- Manage project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status updates
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and meeting notes
- Coordinate with technical and business teams and among stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Contribute to post-migration reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
- Certifications: PMP certified
- Experience or coursework in project management or technology coordination
- Understanding of cloud data platforms and migration processes (Datawarehouse and/or datalake experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Awareness of investment banking technology and data solutions would be an advantage, specifically DCM, ECM, M&A/Advisory or Corporate Finance business lines.
The expected base salary ranges from $83k-$120k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
