Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Sets up, installs, configures, and supports low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/visual systems, and network
cabling. Runs, terminates, labels, and tests cabling in accordance with project requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards.
Performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing to ensure system reliability and performance. Diagnoses, troubleshoots,
and resolves system faults, outages, and performance issues to minimize downtime. Repairs or replaces damaged components and restores systems
to optimal operating condition. Evaluates existing systems to identify opportunities for upgrades, enhancements, or compliance with new standards.
Performs system upgrades to improve performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Maintains accurate records of installations, inspections,
repairs, and maintenance activities. Generates reports related to system performance, issues resolved, and maintenance activities. Provides technical
support and training to end users on the proper operation and basic maintenance of low voltage systems.
Addresses customer and stakeholder inquiries and concerns professionally, accurately, and efficiently. Communicates effectively with clients to
understand requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions. Works collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, project managers,
and business partners to ensure timely and high-quality project completion. Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources, information, and
tools. Coordinates work assignments. Provides feedback. Supports work quality and timelines. Develops, communicates, and implements processes
and practices to meet business needs by analyzing information from multiple sources and identifying improvement opportunities. Demonstrates
adaptability by learning from change, challenges, and feedback to continuously improve performance.
Safely operates a motor vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws, company safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintains assigned
vehicles in excellent mechanical condition by performing basic preventive maintenance and ensuring vehicle cleanliness at all times. Conducts routine
vehicle safety checks, including fuel and fluid levels, brakes, lights, turn signals, and other operational systems. Ensures vehicles have all required
documentation for lawful operation and verifies the validity of vehicle insurance coverage. Coordinates and transports vehicles for required
maintenance or inspections, ensuring alternate driving support is arranged in advance when needed. Submits vehicle maintenance and repair
invoices timely for payment while maintaining assigned schedules and driving quality standards.
Follows all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Wears company-issued uniform and badge according to
company policies and procedures. Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics
and integrity. Uses the Open Door Policy and supports management in addressing ethical, compliance, or safety concerns.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and
guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and
building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business
needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on

Minimum Qualifications...

High school diploma or equivalent.
Hold and maintain jurisdiction-required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work (reciprocal license may apply and licensing requirements vary by state).
Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations within the last three (3) years.
Commercial driving record with no preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle within the last three (3) years.
Commercial driving record with no serious traffic violations, as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, within the last three (3) years.
Ability to successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and obtain medical certification valid for at least one (1) year.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
Option 1: 1 year's experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related technical trade. Option 2: 2 years' Walmart store experience.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Experience in local electrical codes and standards.
