Job descriptionThe Technical Writer designs, builds and owns IREN's operating documentation system and authors the operating procedures (SOP/MOP/EOP), readiness and handover documentation for the data centre campuses, so that site teams work from procedures that are accurate, verified in the field and easy to find. Technical content comes from the engineers and site teams, who remain the technical authority and approve it; the writer owns how it is captured, structured, verified and maintained. The role sits in the Datacenter Operations org and is functionally lead by the Asset Management & Operational Excellence function that supports site operations teams in Canada and the US.

- Verify procedures with the technicians who use them, on site or through site teams; record failures, revise and re-test until the steps hold
