Salary Range: $114,300-$127,000
What You'll Do- Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments
- Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
- Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance
- Be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Write and edit technical documentation for all the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.
- Create code documentation for software, produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities, provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation, and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.
- This project provides, but is not limited to, High-Capacity Sensor Operations (HCSO) Integrated Operations Center (HIOC) documentation support, process and system documentation support, configuration management support, process support, and training support, to include HCSO business process training and foreign partner system training courses.
- You must be a "power user" in the following applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.
What You Bring- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience supporting government or DoD programs
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Six (6) years' experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, complexity is required.
- A bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four additional years of TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications- Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.)
- Agile, cloud, or modernization experience
- Background in process improvement or analytical services
Compensation & BenefitsThe projected salary range for this position is
$114,300-$127,000, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.
