Technical Targeting Analyst

Location: McLean, Virginia

WarCollar is seeking an experienced Technical Targeting Analyst to join our team and support our customers' exciting mission. This role requires a strong background in cyber analysis and intelligence research, and candidates with foreign language proficiency are highly desired, though not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze network events to determine their impact on current operations and conduct intelligence research to assess threat levels.
  • Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles based on the collection, research, and analysis of classified and open-source information.
  • Collect and correlate data using required and available intelligence methods.
  • Use business and analytical skills to ensure that information is verified and disseminated in a manner that aids in disrupting threats and attacks on critical entities.
  • Communicate findings and provide threat mitigation recommendations through written reports and verbal presentations to U.S. government intelligence and network operations customers.


Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of cumulative experience in at least three of the following: analysis, network engineering, network security, offensive experience, technical collection, penetration testing, "red teaming," hardware engineering, software reverse engineering, or computer exploitation.
  • 3+ years of cumulative experience with at least three of the following: SIGINT, MASINT, HUMINT, or OSINT collection capabilities and dissemination systems.
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing current and emerging intelligence issues.
  • 2+ years of experience creating intelligence reports.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus, but not required.
  • Long-term TDY/PCS assignment (one year).
  • Prior military experience is a plus.


Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens, hold an active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), and have a positively adjudicated polygraph to be considered for this position.
