Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, or relevant experience.
• Expertise in solar energy and energy storage systems.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC), utility interconnections, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications.
• Proven communication skills with engineers, providing informed guidance without overshadowing their decisions.

Responsibilities

• Explain and assess technology tradeoffs in system designs.
• Provide product comparisons and detailed analysis to engineers.
• Assist in developing and refining specification language relevant to electrical installations.
• Review and confirm equipment specifications and requirements.
• Compile product data sheets and compliance documentation for specifications.
• Support engineering feasibility studies and discussions related to energy projects.
• Facilitate coordination between manufacturers and engineering resources.
