POSITION SUMMARY/CLASS DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:
As part of Help Desk Support group, will be responsible for phone support, imaging, deployment, and asset management of end point devices.

STARTING SALARY HIRING RANGE:
$27.23 - $36.77$56,645 - $76,484

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Performs senior technical level technology and communication services work under regular supervision from a technical superior. Work may include assisting in the production of television programs and public service announcements; preparing illustrations, graphic designs, and construction drawings; providing media conversion and laser or photo type output services for reproduction; operating computers and planning computer operating schedules; or installing, repairing and maintaining radio, telephone, data and related electronic equipment. May serve as a lead worker.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

Performs desktop level technology work that includes building and rebuilding PCs at the software level, which includes all current level of operating systems Windows 10 OS and above, Antivirus Software, Bomgar support, and various levels of Microsoft Office.

Installs network devices such as PC's, printers, and Scanners.

Provides Help Desk technical support for end users desktop PCs and laptops.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory device management.
Upgrades all level of current software, troubleshoots and corrects network problems.

Replaces end users PCs and migrates users' data from old PC to the PC upgrade.

Configures users profiles for LAN settings, default web page, and firewall setting and administrating user's rights at the PC level.

Provides backup Help desk telephone support.

Perform Asset Management of all hardware peripherals such as desktops and laptops.

Run Asset Management reports for hardware inventory.

Update assets in the Service Now (SNAP) Management Console.

Conduct device recovery as part of the employee termination process.

Assist with surplus of devices such as desktops and laptops.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
GED and/or Associates' degree.
Experience in working with Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
Experience in Microsoft Office 365 other similar products.
High order of customer service communication skills.
