Job Description

This customer-facing role will serve as a technical expert supporting distributors, OEM partners, and end-user decorators through product evaluations, application development, troubleshooting, training, color profile generation, and product launch activities.

The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience operating digital textile printing systems and will work closely with R&D, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and strategic distribution partners to ensure successful customer adoption.

This position requires significant travel and the ability to independently support customers on-site globally.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Participate in the market implementation of new applications, product launches, and distributor training.
  • Review technical documentation, product specifications, application guidelines, and customer-facing technical support materials, prepared by the Product Management/Development team(s).
  • Own resolution of customer complaints, product performance issues, and process-related concerns.
  • On-site customers support for product adoption, equipment conversions, DTF system optimization

Product Development & Commercialization
  • Participate in performance validation of DTF inks, films, powders, and related consumables.
  • Carry-out external Beta test programs.
  • Analyze and communicate test results to Product Management, R&D, Commercial, and customer teams.
  • Support commercialization planning and application activities.


Customer Specification Development
  • Identify customer-specific technical requirements including:
    • Ink performance
    • Color gamut
    • White opacity
    • Wash durability
    • Print speed
    • Printer compatibility
    • Compliance requirements

Technical Documentation
  • Develop:
    • Information Bulletins (PIBs)
    • Printing recommendations
    • Application guides
    • Color management documentation
    • Training materials
    • Distributor technical support materials

Customer Complaint Resolution
  • Support investigation and resolution of:
    • Print quality issues
    • Ink settling concerns
    • Film release issues
    • Powder adhesion issues
    • Color consistency issues
    • Printhead clogging concerns
    • Equipment compatibility issues


Travel Requirements

Required Travel: 70-80% domestic and international travel

Travel will include:
  • Customer visits
  • Distributor support
  • Product evaluations
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Trade shows
  • Beta testing activities
  • Training programs
  • Product launch support


Qualifications

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in field experience

Experience

Required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Experience supporting industrial customers in a technical or applications role.
  • Hands-on experience operating digital printing systems.
  • Experience with DTF or related digital textile printing technologies.

Preferred
  • DTF production troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with textile inks, films, and powders.
  • Color management, ICC profiling, and workflow optimization experience.
  • Experience with RIP software and digital print workflows
