Job Title Technical Scrum Master Location ESN CHESAPEAKE OFFICE - VA US (Primary) Job Description We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master. This job is in Chesapeake, VA. ESN is seeking a Database Management Analyst/Scrum Master to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract to support NIWC LANT consists of Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support. The Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) systems provide near real-time material-based readiness reporting to the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy (DRRS-N) and provides three additional primary capabilities to the Fleet including Ashore and Afloat systems. This support includes automated software testing, Scrum Master support, operating in the AWS Cloud, management of JIRA/Confluence, and project support. Experience Requirements:
  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred certifications for the position include SQL Server certification, AWS Certified Database specialty and Oracle Certified Professional.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of DevSecOps/Production Operations related professional experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases which may include coordinating computer database changes, implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases; and maintaining databases within an application area. Individual shall be capable of working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. As well as at least 2 years of Scrum Leadership experience. In this role, you will coordinate, monitor, and provide technical direction of the Scrum process.
  • Specific Experience: Three (3) years' experience designing and maintaining AWS database solutions. Two (2) years' experience implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) solutions.
  • Secret Security Clearance required.

  • Leads technical analysis, design, and architecture for the assigned service catalog work center initiatives.
  • Leads operation of the service catalog initiatives, once deployed into production.
