Join Our Team as a Technical Sales Representative at Epiroc!

Work Type (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote): Onsite, 50% travel required

Work Location:

This role is located in Sudbury, Ontario. Applicants must currently reside within the Greater Sudbury area.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify our customers' needs and propose added value solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and propose value-added solutions.
  • Conduct prospecting activities to identify and develop sales opportunities.
  • Visit client drill sites to provide appropriate tools, technical support, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, including post-sale follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to build trust in products and services.
  • Prepare and present detailed service and field reports, including product performance and site visit summaries.
  • Apply marketing strategies and promotional initiatives to support sales growth.
  • Maintain strong understanding of assigned markets and advise clients on selection of diamond tools and drilling-related products.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and recommend solutions to customers.
  • Conduct field tests with clients to demonstrate product quality, performance, and value.
  • Provide technical advice to optimize tool selection and usage based on terrain type and drilling conditions.
  • Cover territories including British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, with potential international travel.
  • Provide support for warehouse and office operations as required.
  • Support vacation coverage in other regions when required.
  • Monitor and document competitor activity and market trends.


Knowledge/Education:
  • Experience in exploration core drilling, geotechnical drilling practices, or demonstrated high level of mechanical and technical competence.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), including the ability to create spreadsheets, reports, and presentations, and navigate internal applications and databases.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of surface and underground drilling applications considered an asset
