Full Job Description
The Senior Technical Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and attracting key technical talent to expand the capabilities of our growing company. The ideal candidate has the skills and interest to not only recruit amazing talent, but the desire to grow along with the pace of this company and be a key partner in building the recruiting function. To succeed as our talent representative, you will be passionate about recruitment and willing to go the extra mile to close the positions, as well as confident while communicating with the internal stakeholders and external candidates. You are also someone who prioritizes candidate experience and engagement and ensures smooth onboarding experience for each hire.

This position will report to the Head of Global Recruiting and will work closely with our satellite engineering teams as a talent advisor. The role will be based in our Arlington, TX office or Saratoga, CA office.

We are doing exciting work with satellites, so candidates with and understanding of the technology (eg. the difference between a GEO and LEO satellite) and who can identify talent who have made strong individual and leadership contributions in areas such as component development, design and in-orbit activities will fit very well with our needs.

What you will do

  • Own the full cycle recruiting process across technical, manufacturing, operations, and/or engineering roles, from job intake and posting to negotiating and extending the offer.
  • Develop sourcing models and plans to generate talent pools, networks, and pipelines; build and execute robust search strategies, calibrate candidates and assessment strategies with hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain market intelligence and a network of talent and potential candidates through previous experience, proactive research, and ongoing relationship; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate manager requirements through high interview-to-offer ratios.
  • Add value by partnering with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and execute effective talent sourcing, engagement, assessment, and closing approaches delivering a diverse range of candidates and providing outstanding stakeholder experience.
  • Advise, manage expectations, and challenge the hiring managers' community most professionally to achieve our common goals and dive deep with an inquisitive approach into the technical requirements of job requisitions.
  • Generate and recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the enhancement of hiring processes, implementing changes and new procedures, and promoting the fine-tuning of standard methods for talent acquisition.
  • Work with metrics and reporting to establish recruitment updates and insight to ensure hiring is working effectively and can demonstrate successes vs. areas of focus and prepare search status reports and lead update meetings on active searches.


What you bring to this role

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter in the satellite, space, aerospace & defense or semiconductor industries
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles
  • Familiarity with AI based sourcing tools, Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques and best practice candidate attraction techniques (e.g. social media sourcing and / or Boolean search)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a solid understanding of HR and compliance practices and labor legislation


Bonus points for the following

  • Previous experience in a start-up or rapidly scaling organization
  • Multi-jurisdictional experience in the Texas and California recruitment markets and navigating labor laws in multiple jurisdictions


$90,000 - $110,000 a year

E-Space is not currently able to provide employment sponsorship for candidates who do not hold work authorization for the location of this role if you do not already hold it.
