THE ROLEAs a Technical Program Manager within our Manufacturing Test Engineering Development team, you will provide single-threaded test program ownership of L6 and L10 testing for NPI, sustaining production, qualifications, and test strategy. While the Operations PM owns the factory and schedule, you own test engineering readiness against that schedule, ensuring test engineering is never the surprise at a gate review. You will differentiate this role by translating build milestones into test deliverables at each assembly level, and feeding real constraints back into planning to empower engineers to focus on technical execution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Maintain an integrated view of every commitment across L6 and L10 NPI, production, qualifications, and test strategy, driving cross-functional dependencies, owners, and timelines in one place.
- Own gate and checkpoint readiness at every L6 and L10 milestone by tracking test coverage, ICT fixture availability, parts lead times, and test software releases to ensure seamless deployments.
- Facilitate strategic communication, conflict resolution, and architectural decisions, identifying risks early and arriving at gate reviews with a recommended mitigation path.
- Absorb status reporting, granular logistics, and dashboard maintenance for team workloads, enabling engineers to remain focused exclusively on technical deliverables.
- Solve for root causes and refine organizational workflows to prevent recurrence, framing trade-offs and forcing closure to ensure continuous program momentum.
WHAT YOU BRING- A proven track record leading concurrent NPI programs with comprehensive exposure to both board-level (L6) and system-level (L10) manufacturing hardware tests.
- Technical fluency in manufacturing test processes-including ICT, functional test, burn-in, End of Line system test, and yield workflows-enabling you to independently challenge estimates and assess risk.
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to compress a complex portfolio into actionable insights tailored for leadership and operational partners.
- Advanced proficiency with program management and tracking tools (such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or Confluence) to synthesize complex data and provide full visibility for successful outcomes.
- A proactive approach to mitigating downstream risks by identifying critical path dependencies early, rather than merely relaying ambiguous problems or managing immediate exceptions.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
