Technical Program Manager, AI Horizons Location: Pleasanton, CA | Work model: Hybrid
About the role Program manager for the AI Horizons portfolio: forward-looking AI platform and capability initiatives. Operates with high ambiguity and converts exploratory work into funded, measurable programs.
What you'll do - Stand up and run programs for emerging AI platform and product initiatives.
- Partner with research, engineering, and GPU One delivery on pilot scoping and success criteria.
- Track experiments, milestones, and resourcing across workstreams.
- Produce executive updates and decision memos.
- Manage external AI/ML vendor and partner engagements.
- Define how pilots graduate into production programs.
What we're looking for - 7+ years technical program management, including work on early-stage or ambiguous initiatives.
- Working fluency in AI/ML concepts, GPU compute, and model training or inference workflows.
- Strong structured thinking and written communication.
- Comfortable driving programs without formal authority.
Nice to have - Prior experience at an AI infrastructure or ML platform company.
- Technical background in ML, data, or distributed systems.
- Experience commercializing pilots into revenue-generating services.
Compensation - Full-Time, Exempt
- $165,000 - $215,000 per year, DOE
