Job Summary
The Technical Lead - Java/C++ will lead and contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications. This role involves full systems lifecycle management, technical architecture, application development, testing, production support, and collaboration with clients and project teams. The individual will translate business requirements into technical solutions, guide development activities, ensure compliance with software development standards, and support system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct systems and requirements analysis to identify project activities and technical action items.
• Develop task lists, cost estimates, and time estimates to support project planning.
• Review and consolidate project issues to support effective resolution.
• Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with information systems governance, standards, and policies.
• Participate in defining and developing technical specifications.
• Translate logical designs into physical designs.
• Review detailed designs and documentation to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Define interfaces among system components to ensure interoperability.
• Evaluate vendor technologies and recommend suitable products.
• Lead peer reviews to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain accurate and consistent system documentation.
• Create unit test plans and review documented test results.
• Prepare technical documentation in compliance with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to communicate project updates to teams and stakeholders.
• Define and produce integration builds to support application development.
• Perform build processes to produce software and prepare applications for delivery.
• Develop integration test specifications, execute tests, record failures, and perform fault diagnosis.
• Define and administer procedures to monitor system performance and integrity.
• Perform application maintenance and support activities to resolve technical issues.
• Document maintenance and support activities to ensure quality control.
• Perform business continuity and disaster recovery activities to meet system availability requirements.
• Communicate maintenance updates and support modifications to developers, users, and external groups.
• Evaluate system usage and identify opportunities to improve application quality and effectiveness.
• Maintain and update defect logs to monitor system reliability.
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain training content to improve support quality.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams on technical solutions and future system enhancements.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of advanced proficiency in Java (version 11 or higher) and C++.
• 4+ years of experience building complex, scalable applications.
• 7+ years of expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing advanced microservices architectures.
