About the job:We are seeking a highly skilled
Technical Lead - AI Product Development to lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative AI-powered solutions for a leading banking client. This role combines deep technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with strong leadership, client engagement, and product development experience.
The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority for AI initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle while ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture standards. This individual will partner closely with stakeholders across technology, business, risk, compliance, and data teams to deliver scalable AI solutions that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, risk management, and decision-making.
What you will do at Sogeti:Leadership & Strategy• Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale AI and Machine Learning solutions for banking and financial services clients.• Provide technical leadership to teams of AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.• Define AI product roadmaps, technical standards, development methodologies, and best practices.• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.• Mentor and coach engineering teams on AI technologies, model development, deployment strategies, and MLOps practices.
AI Product Development• Drive end-to-end delivery of AI products from ideation, proof of concept, and MVP through production deployment and support.• Design and implement Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM), Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and predictive analytics solutions.• Evaluate and recommend AI frameworks, tools, and platforms to support business objectives.• Build scalable AI architectures leveraging cloud-native technologies and modern engineering practices.• Establish AI governance frameworks addressing explain ability, fairness, bias mitigation, and model monitoring.
Technical Architecture & Engineering• Design and develop API-driven and microservices-based AI solutions.• Lead integration of AI platforms with banking applications, data ecosystems, and enterprise systems.• Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing practices, and MLOps frameworks.• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and regulatory requirements.• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
Banking & Regulatory Compliance• Ensure AI solutions comply with banking regulations, data privacy requirements, and enterprise risk standards.• Partner with risk management and compliance teams to implement model governance and validation controls.• Support audit, model risk management, and regulatory review processes related to AI implementations.
Stakeholder Management• Present technical concepts and AI strategies to executive leadership and client stakeholders.• Collaborate with business leaders to identify AI use cases and prioritize opportunities based on business value.• Act as the primary technical advisor for AI initiatives across multiple client engagements.
What you will bring: Required Qualifications Education• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
Experience• 8+ years of software engineering and application development experience.• 5+ years of experience developing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.• 3+ years of technical leadership or architecture experience leading engineering teams.• Experience delivering AI products within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or highly regulated industries.• Previous experience within an IT Consulting or Professional Services organization strongly preferred.
Technical Skills• Strong experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, LangChain, or similar.• Experience with Generative AI platforms, Large Language Models (Open AI, Azure Open AI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc..).• Expertise in cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.• Experience with vector data bases, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, and prompt engineering.• Strong knowledge of MLOps tools and practices.• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.• Knowledge of data engineering, big data technologies, and enterprise integration patterns.• Proficiency with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Banking Domain Knowledge• Understanding of banking operations, payments, lending, fraud detection, risk management, compliance, AML, KYC, or customer experience platforms.• Familiarity with regulatory and security requirements within financial services environments.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience implementing AI solutions in areas such as: ¿Fraud Detection¿Credit Risk Assessment¿Customer Service Automation¿Intelligent Document Processing¿Financial Forecasting¿Conversational AI'Regulatory Compliance Automation• Cloud certifications (Azure AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer).• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.• Exposure to Responsible AI and AI governance frameworks.
