Technical Business Analyst
The Opportunity:

As an IT business analyst, you9ll develop leading-edge applications. Partnering with your multi-disciplinary technical team, you9ll identify clients9 business needs, design user journeys, define scenarios and edge cases, and document requirements. You9ll understand the overall project direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you9ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. You will also develop project artifacts for a variety of audiences, from end-users to executive leaders. Together, you9ll deliver impact to our public health customers.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience working with public health professionals in a training, business analyst, or technical capacity
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical business analyst, developing and maintaining specifications, validation rules, and requirements for a software application or data product
  • 3+ years of experience with project control, tracking task completion, progress, and schedule, as well as meeting with project interest holders such as end-users and project sponsors
  • 3+ years of experience developing high-quality project artifacts such as meeting briefs, presentations, and reports, that are appropriate for leadership-level audiences
  • 1+ years of experience using generative AI in a professional software development setting
  • Knowledge of disease control9s technical operating environment such as available technology stack, tools, security, and governance processes
  • Ability to learn business processes, new systems, and emerging technology trends quickly through self-initiated research
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous development projects
  • Public Trust

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with intent-driven or spec-driven development, providing directional guidance to agents while maintaining and updating the spec

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual9s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen9s total compensation package for employees.
