A high-growth, private equity-backed organization is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to join their dynamic accounting team.
This is a highly visible role supporting executive leadership, strategic transactions, external auditors, and cross-functional finance teams. The position offers significant exposure to complex accounting matters, policy development, M&A activity, and special projects.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead research, analysis, and documentation of complex U.S. GAAP matters
Prepare and defend technical accounting memorandums and position papers
Partner with executive leadership and external auditors on key accounting conclusions
Serve as the accounting lead for acquisitions, business combinations, and strategic transactions
Own accounting policy development and implementation
Support technical areas including: ASC 718 | ASC 805 | ASC 606 | ASC 842
Partner with Financial Reporting, FP&A, Tax, and Corporate Accounting teams
Drive process improvements and scalable accounting solutions
Ideal Background
CPA strongly preferred
7-10+ years of accounting experience
Big 4 or large public accounting foundation strongly preferred
Technical Accounting, Accounting Advisory, Financial Reporting, or Transaction Advisory experience
Strong experience with technical accounting research and memo preparation
Experience supporting M&A transactions and purchase accounting
Ability to present complex accounting conclusions to senior executives and auditors
Strong executive presence and communication skills
