Technology Consulting, Technologies and Platforms, Experience Design - UX/UI Designer (Financial Services Office) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1739158), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Stamford, CT.
Assist clients in the financial services industry with creating superior apps, websites and software that are supported by research, brand strategy, and a clear understanding of business and user needs. Manage the user-centered design approach of the client's digital products and manage design deliverables to ensure a great user experience and a realization of the client's product visions. Drive the delivery of sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes, as well as conceiving and conducting user and stakeholder research as needed. Oversee the design team to identify design problems and devise elegant solutions, make strategic design and user experience decisions, and rapidly test and iterate designs. Facilitate workshops on topics across both design and consulting skillsets. Teach the ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently. Collaborate with other team members and senior client stakeholders. Communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and clients with strong aesthetic sensibilities.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 - 45 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Cognition Psychology, Cognitive Science, Communications, Informatics and Design, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Cognition Psychology, Cognitive Science, Communications, Informatics and Design, or a related field and 4 years of related experience.
Must have 4 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the following:
• UX design experience while working at a financial services company (such as wealth asset management, banking & capital markets, and/or insurance company); OR
• Providing UX design services as a consultant to a financial services company (such as wealth asset management, banking & capital markets, and/or insurance company).
Must have 4 years of experience using prototyping software, including one or a combination of any of the following: Figma, Sketch, InDesign, InVision, UXPin, OmniGraffle, Framer.js, and/or Quartz Composer.
Must have 4 years of experience with user-centered design (including Wireframes, Information Architecture, Content Management / Taxonomy, and User Stories) and testing methodologies, including usability heuristics and inclusive design.
Must have 4 years of experience with UX Research (including Service Design, Journey mapping, Personas, Contextual Interviews, and Ethnography).
Must have 2 years of experience in Visual Design, including Typography and Data Visualization.
Must have 4 years of experience in translating business requirements and goals, end user needs, and inputs from cross-functional teams into UX design solutions.
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
