You will strengthen project controls practices, guide a high-performing cost control team, and ensure robust monitoring and performance management across multiple mandates. Your Impact

• Lead, engage, mentor, and develop a cost control team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Allocate resources across projects to align team capacity with priorities, schedules, and client commitments.
• Oversee the quality of cost control deliverables, reviewing and approving outputs to support consistent, reliable project decisions.
• Manage project budgets and forecasts to safeguard financial health and improve visibility throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze cost and schedule variances, recommend corrective actions, and apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to optimize performance.
• Partner with project teams and stakeholders to track performance, communicate insights, and support timely decision-making.
• Manage changes and their financial impacts while ensuring compliance with processes, policies, and contractual requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the project controls practice.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, project management, or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of cost control experience in complex engineering project environments.
• Deep expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), project financial control, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and change management.
• Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and allocating work across multidisciplinary cost control teams.
• A strong record of reviewing complex deliverables and translating project data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Knowledge of AACE and PMI frameworks; related certifications are considered a strong asset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across project, technical, commercial, and client teams.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 - $124,900

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
