Team Lead, Outside Sales
Department:

Location: Bend, Oregon
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Commission - Total compensation (base + commission) can range from $70,000 - $125,000 annually

Position Summary:
The Team Lead, Outside Sales, will be a player and coach, helping train and provide guidance to our growing Outside Sales team. VERO Fiber is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company's overall success. The primary responsibility of the Team Lead will be to ensure that their team meets or exceeds sales targets and objectives. Ultimately, this role is critical in connecting to the communities we serve by offering best-in-class internet services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers.

RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Manage the team on a daily basis, running daily team huddles, weekly 1-on-1 meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Assist in recruiting and training a team of door-to-door sales representatives.
  • Help create and maintain a positive team environment that promotes collaboration and a strong work ethic.
  • Serve as the primary driver of new revenue for the Company by actively engaging in prospecting and sales activities.
  • Acquiring new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide knowledge and sell Vero Broadband services to customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding and stay current on all Company product offerings and align the correct offering with the customer based on their needs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Outside Sales team, helping them to exceed their goals.
  • Work with marketing, business development and operational teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and new market expansions.
  • Track sales activity and ensure accurate information is gathered to enable various KPIs and reporting that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments within the Company.
  • Participate in sales strategies such as marketing campaigns, community events or conferences to that result in increasing market share.
  • Supports team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned.
  • Completes all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with department practice, policies, and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Sales experience a plus, but all that is required is a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Engaging interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to pass a background check and MVR screen is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with leading a team of employees.
JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
  • Ability to work outdoors, approximately 90% of the time, in various extreme weather conditions, such as extreme heat or cold, rain or snow.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, transport and carry boxes or of sales materials, up to 25 lbs.
  • This position will spend minimal time in an office environment.
  • This is a full-time, exempt position.
  • Work location: Bend Oregon
  • The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday late mornings through early evenings, with weeknight and weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.
  • This position is Remote.
  • This is a management position.
  • Extensive travel up to 50% of the time. Ability to travel to various locations to perform job duties and meet with clients, partners, and other stakeholders. Travel schedules may be predictable or variable depending on the project. This position may require you to take short trips, longer trips, or extended stays, depending on the needs of the project. Some travel may require the employee to work weekends or holidays.

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $70,000- $80,000. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • In addition to base salary, this role earns commission based on orders sold. Commissions are paid monthly and quarterly.
