Our client, a respected and financially strong CPA firm, is adding a
Tax Team Leader to support continued growth. This is a hands-on tax role where your experience is valued, your workload is reasonable, and your day-to-day focus stays where it belongs-on tax work, not unnecessary admin or chaos.
You'll prepare individual and business returns, work directly with clients, and serve as a go-to resource for less experienced staff-without being pushed into a formal management track unless you want it.
What You'll Be Doing- Prepare individual, partnership, and business tax returns ranging from straightforward to more complex
- Act as a primary contact for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and a high level of service
- Support and guide junior tax staff as questions arise
- Research tax issues and apply current federal and state regulations
- Collaborate with the team to keep workflows smooth and deadlines manageable
What Will Help You Succeed- Solid experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Several years of hands-on tax work (CPA not required)
- Comfort assisting or reviewing work completed by others
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A steady, client-focused approach and clear communication style
