Prominent, Ultra High Net Worth, multi-family office, seeks a Senior Tax Associate on their individual returns team (1040s).
This is a flexible role that can be fully remote, hybrid or in person in the capital district depending on the preference of the candidate.
Candidate must be on east coast time and open to occasional travel to the office
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare individual income tax returns with varying levels of complexity, along with supporting work-papers
- Review and sign off on complex individual income tax returns prepared by junior team members
- Conduct advanced trainings and assist in developing the training library
- Lead recurring tax meetings with client advisory teams to emphasize current tax initiatives and ensure timely progress and resolution
- Collaborate with fellow associates on creating efficiency within processes and procedures
- Assist with creating and updating company-wide templates for completion of tax returns
- Stay current on tax legislation and communicate updates to the tax management team
- Mentor and train Tax Analysts and Associates, supporting technical and professional growth
- Coordinate department priorities and managing tax compliance calendars
Qualified candidates should have 4+ years of preparation and review experience of complex, ultra high net worth individual tax returns.
CPA, EA or Master's in Tax preferred, but not required
Base salary 125,000-175,000 DOE
